ON THE FOURTH OF JULY (1983),
in Los Angeles—Avo Yermagyan is a fiery, vibrant, and determined
Cancer. He grew up traveling the world, is an accomplished equestrian,
as well as, a trained performer and musician. His interests started on
the performance side of entertainment, where his efforts led him to such
opportunities as being a backup dancer to Mariah Carey at the 2000
American Music Awards, as well as, a dancer for the Source Sound
Lab on UPN. Avo worked hard on his craft, training with acclaimed
vocal coaches Tony Silva and Dave Stroud, under the Seth Riggs Vocal Technique.
He also made appearances on numerous indie and grad films during his youth,
with occasional forays in theatre.
After the devastating loss of his father, Avo took some time off to travel and regroup. Following this brief hiatus, he worked for producer Randi Wilens of RW Media on music videos for Ashlee Simpson, Bonnie McKee and Counting Crows among others. In 2001, he started working as an executive assitant to sytlist Juan Juan, the owner of the world-renowned Juan Juan Salon in Beverly Hills. Avo soon transitioned from his role as executive assistant to the in-house public relations liaison for Juan's product line, J Beverly Hills. Avo's new role as Juan's publicist sparked a deep passion to forge ahead in the public relations field. ....more |
